Schoeller Allibert in Hardenberg, the Netherlands, is a leading manufacturer of plastic bottle crates. As part of an internal logistics innovation process, a conveying line composed of conveyor belts mod. PA 110 has been created, which perfectly connects production with the shipping department. The robots on the injection molding machines place the boxes on an integrated conveyor; each of these production units feeds a central conveyor belt, which crosses the production department overhead and then descends to a carousel located in the shipping department. This large carousel allows to flexibly distribute the crates on different « pallet positions », corresponding to customer orders. The conveyor mod. PA 110, the robust and versatile standard flat conveyor by MB Conveyors, has proven to be the perfect solution for this project. With the valuable cooperation of our local representative CS Plastics, the customer has thus achieved its goal: to avoid the transport of finished products with forklifts within the production department.
