1. Warranty Duration
All MB Conveyors belt conveyors sold from 01/01/2026, unless otherwise specified, are covered by:
- Legal warranty of 12 months (first year), in compliance with applicable regulations and the conditions set out in the user and maintenance manuals. The warranty starts from the date of the delivery document to the User and may be proportionally reduced in case of use exceeding the standard working hours considered usual for the specific type of machine.
- MB Premium Warranty from the 2nd to the 5th year following delivery.
2. Scope of Warranty
- The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects that render the product unsuitable for its intended use.
- The warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper use, incorrect installation, inadequate maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or tampering.
- The legal warranty is limited exclusively to the free repair or replacement of parts that, after technical inspection, are found to be defective. Repairs or replacements do not extend the warranty period.
3. Specific Exclusions of the MB Premium Warranty (Years 2–5)
The extended “MB Premium Warranty” does not apply to the following components:
- Conveyor belt fabric (sliding material).
- Electrical and electronic components, including but not limited to:
– Switches and control panels
– Sensors
– Photocells
– Other electronic control and automation devices
4. Validity Conditions
- The customer must check the conformity of the product upon delivery and report any defects within 8 days of receipt.
- Any warranty interventions must be requested in writing, specifying the product’s serial number and a description of the defect, and providing evidence if required.
- The warranty is valid only if the product has been used in accordance with the instructions provided by MB Conveyors S.r.l. and in compliance with the user and maintenance manual.
- The warranty automatically becomes void in case of removal of safety devices, use of non-original spare parts, tampering, or repairs carried out by unauthorized personnel.
- The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
5. Intervention Procedures
- During the first year (legal warranty), MB Conveyors S.r.l. will repair or replace the defective component free of charge to the customer, limited to material or manufacturing defects.
- From the 2nd to the 5th year (MB Premium Warranty), MB Conveyors S.r.l. will repair or replace structural and mechanical components, subject to the exclusions specified in section 3.
- Transport costs, customs duties, VAT, expenses related to lubricant replacement, and, where applicable, travel, board, and lodging expenses of technical personnel are always excluded.
- Repairs may be carried out at MB Conveyors’ premises or, if requested, at the User’s premises with the above-mentioned expenses charged to the customer.
6. Limitation of Liability
- MB Conveyors S.r.l.’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective component, at the company’s discretion.
- Indirect costs, consequential damages, or production losses resulting from machine downtime are not recognized.
- The warranty does not cover damages due to transport, incorrect installation or maintenance, negligence, or improper use.
7. Jurisdiction
- For any dispute relating to the interpretation and application of this warranty, the Court of Vicenza shall have jurisdiction.
